If you forgot your password, but you know your username or you know that we have your correct email address:
- Click on Login from the main menu
- Click on ‘Lost your password’
- Enter your username or email address and click ‘Get new Password’
- Look in your email Inbox for the email we will send you and follow the instructions inside
If you know what your password is:
- login to the website like you normally do
- near the upper right-hand corner of the screen, point to the ‘Howdy’ message (e.g ‘Howdy, Don Jenkins’)
- From the menu that appears, click on ‘Edit My Profile’
- Scroll down to the Account Management section and click the ‘Generate Password ‘button.
- You can use the password that is created for you or blank it out and then change it to whatever you want.
- If you enter your own password, use a combination of upper and lower case letters, numbers, and special characters like !@#. A message will guide you if you enter something wrong.
- A password strength message will appear below the password you type in. If the password you enter is too easy to crack, you will be required to confirm the use of a weak password by checking the ‘Confirm use of weak password’ box (NOT recommended! – if someone cracks your password, they will have access to all the private HOA information on the website.)
- Click the blue ‘Update Profile’ button at the bottom of the page.

We are all members of the HOA and there are many ways we can help keep Grand View Estates a great place to live.
Besides serving on the Board of Directors, we have an Architectural Control committee, a Neighborhood Watch committee, a Common Areas committee, a Welcoming Committee, and a Golf Committee.
The Board of Directors and the Architectural Control Committee are composed of neighbors that run for election and are chosen by the membership. The other committees are made up of volunteers, and everyone is welcome to join!

Blog is a shortened version of the term web log. A web log is a web page that contains articles that are all about some central topic. The articles are dated, and usually displayed with the newest articles at the top of the list.
Many blogs allow readers to post comments about an article, so you can have a back-and-forth conversation about the article. Other blogs don’t allow comments, they just display useful information. As you can imagine, a popular blog that allows comments can keep the blog owner very busy!
The Grand View Estates website is a blog site that displays useful information but currently doesn’t allow comments. However, you can always make a comment or ask a question using the Contact the Board page, and all members of the HOA Board of Directors will receive a copy.

The Covenants, Bylaws, and Addendum can be found on the Public Info page. This is a public page so you don’t have to login to view it.
From the menu bar at the top of the web page, use your mouse pointer to point to Public Info, and when the menu expands, move the pointer down and click on Covenants.
On the next page you will see blue headings for each document separately, and another that will show all 3 documents at once. Click the blue heading of the document you want to view.
Remember, the Covenants is a very large document so it will take longer to load than a normal web page; please be patient.
If you have trouble viewing a document, look for a link near the bottom of the page that will let you download the document to your computer. For example, on the Bylaws page, there is a link that says ‘Download the Bylaws.’ Point to it and click it!
What happens next depends on how your computer is set up. Sometimes the document will open up in a PDF reader so you can read it, save a copy on your computer, or print it. Or a copy of the document might just be saved on your computer without being displayed. If so, it will be in your Downloads folder.
